Key Responsibilities Simplifying complex financial accounting concepts into actionable strategies for stakeholders Leading components of annual financial audits and preparing Form 990 financial reporting Researching and implementing new accounting standards and improving internal controls over financial reporting
Required Qualifications Active CPA license or equivalent international certification with strong US GAAP experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance plus 8+ years of relevant experience Experience in supporting audited financial statements and/or Form 990 preparation Solid understanding of nonprofit accounting and core financial reporting concepts
Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and internal controls
