Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year

We are seeking a Consulting Senior Accountant to join our dynamic Accounting + Finance team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in auditing, managing accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining the general ledger. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply your accounting expertise in a consulting capacity, enabling our clients to optimize their financial operations and achieve their business objectives.

Responsibilities

Performing regular audits to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations.

Managing accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions.

Maintaining the general ledger, ensuring its accuracy and completeness.

Providing expert advice to clients on financial management and operational improvement.

Developing and implementing financial strategies to support clients’ business objectives.

Analyzing financial data and preparing reports to aid decision-making.

Collaborating with clients and team members to identify and resolve accounting issues.

Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior accounting role.

Proven experience in audit, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA designation is preferred.

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Exceptional communication and consulting skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into understandable terms for clients.

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
