Grants Accoutnant

Job Details

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and track grant funding in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports for grant-funded programs.
• Monitor budgets and ensure proper allocation of grant expenses.
• Perform account reconciliations and support month-end close processes.
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with grant requirements (OMB Uniform Guidance a plus).
• Collaborate with program managers to ensure proper financial tracking and reporting.
• Maintain documentation and ensure readiness for internal and external audits.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of accounting experience, with grant accounting preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and fund accounting principles.
• Experience with federal or state grant compliance (OMB Uniform Guidance preferred).
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Quick Books, or similar).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple grants and deadlines simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
