- Manage project financials from start to completion.
- Track job costs, budgets, and project performance.
- Prepare and maintain WIP (Work In Progress) schedules.
- Review and process subcontractor invoices and billings.
- Assist with monthly close, including project‑related journal entries.
- Monitor project budgets and identify cost variances.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate financial tracking.
- Support audits and maintain proper documentation.
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction.
- Experience with job costing and project‑based accounting.
- Familiarity with WIP reporting and percentage of completion methods.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage 100/300, Quick Books, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
