We're looking for a Senior Cost Accountant who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and enjoys connecting the numbers to the bigger picture. In this role, you'll partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate project accounting, maintain inventory integrity, support revenue recognition, and drive continuous improvement across financial processes.

• Lead project accounting activities, including revenue and cost recognition
• Monitor and reconcile contract assets, liabilities, and customer backlog
• Manage inventory accounting and cost of sales reporting
• Support forecasting efforts through Estimate at Completion (EAC) reviews
• Analyze customer contracts and apply ASC 606 accounting guidance
• Create and maintain project structures and charge codes within the ERP system
• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
• Develop and document accounting procedures to support compliance and internal controls
• Investigate discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
• Champion process improvements that increase efficiency and reporting accuracy

• 5+ years of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment
• Strong ERP experience and proficiency with Excel
• Background in project accounting, inventory accounting, or revenue recognition
• Experience supporting operational teams with financial analysis and decision‑making
• Excellent analytical skills with a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem solving
