An established local CPA firm in the area is looking to add an Audit Supervisor to their growing team. This stable and growing firm offers clients valuable knowledge and expertise in tax. Responsibilities- Plan sections of the audit (risk assessment, materiality, timelines)
- Perform and review testing (controls, substantive procedures)
- Ensure audit work complies with standards (like GAAP / GAAS)
- Identify accounting or audit issues and escalate when needed
- Assign tasks to junior auditors
- Review staff work papers for accuracy and completeness
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related area.
- 2+ years of proven experience in public accounting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
- CPA / CPA Eligible preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,k depending on experience
