Job Details
Full‑Time Bookkeeper – Albuquerque, NM (onsite). Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per year.
Responsibilities- Record and manage all consumer revenue transactions (checks and credit cards) in Quick Books.
- Accurately enter cash receipts with proper general ledger coding.
- Process vendor invoices and prepare weekly check runs.
- Match supplier invoices to payments and maintain organized documentation.
- Manage high‑volume payments and disbursements tied to scheduled events.
- Process award and payment checks with proper coding and balancing.
- Collect, track, and maintain W‑9s and support annual 1099 reporting.
- Support month‑end close and financial reporting activities.
- Proactively review transactions to ensure accuracy before posting.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of financial data.
- Assist with additional accounting and reporting tasks as needed.
- Some travel throughout the year is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance OR 4+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience.
- Experience with high‑volume transactional accounting.
- Strong understanding of AP, AR, cash receipts, and general ledger activity.
- Proficiency in Quick Books and Excel.
- Prior experience handling W‑9s and 1099s preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time‑management skills.
- Self‑starter who can work independently and collaboratively.
