Senior Tax Consultant

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

Responsibilities

Overseeing and managing various aspects of multi‑entity accounting and financial reporting.

Ensuring strict compliance with SOX and other relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Providing strategic tax planning and consulting services to our clients, with a focus on S‑corp tax issues.

Conducting thorough research on complex tax matters and providing actionable and practical solutions to clients.

Assisting in the preparation and review of corporate, individual, and partnership tax returns.

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients through regular communication and excellent customer service.

Collaborating with internal teams to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of tax services.

Staying up‑to‑date with the latest industry trends, tax laws, and regulations to provide the most effective tax strategies to clients.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA designation is highly desirable.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax consulting, with a focus on multi‑entity accounting, financial reporting, SOX compliance, and S‑corp.

Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws, corporate tax planning, and tax compliance procedures.

Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in a clear and concise manner.

Proficiency in using tax software and other accounting tools.

A strong commitment to professional development and continuous learning.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
