We are partnering with a growing, woman-owned CPA firm that specializes in serving governmental, nonprofit, and commercial organizations through financial audits, compliance audits, fraud prevention, and consulting services.

About the Role

Responsibilities
  • Lead financial statement and compliance audit engagements from planning through completion.
  • Manage multiple client engagements while ensuring quality, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Review financial statements and audit work papers for accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide technical guidance on accounting, auditing, and compliance matters.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering exceptional service.
  • Identify and resolve complex accounting and financial reporting issues.
  • Ensure engagement quality control and adherence to professional standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA required or strongly preferred; CFE certification is a plus.
  • Strong public accounting audit experience with progressively increasing responsibilities.
  • Experience auditing governmental and/or nonprofit organizations is highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of GASB standards is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and lead audit teams.
