Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors and assist members at the front desk with inquiries and support.
- Accurately input member and employer data into the internal database and maintain up-to-date records.
- Review reports to verify union dues payments and ensure the accuracy of financial information.
- Collaborate with the accountant and internal staff to respond to information requests and support bookkeeping tasks.
- Handle general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
- Coordinate with team members to streamline office workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
- Support payroll and accounting functions related to union dues, contracts, and reports.
- Respond to inbound calls and provide thorough assistance to callers.
- Assist with union-related tasks, including grievances and contract management.
- Maintain a high level of organization and reliability in daily responsibilities. Requirements - Previous experience in administrative or office support roles, ideally in a front-desk or customer-facing position.
- Proficiency in data entry with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate computer systems and databases.
- Familiarity with financial or bookkeeping environments, including tasks related to payroll or union dues.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and consistent punctuality.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and external contacts.
