General Administrative Assistant

Job Purpose

National Roofing is seeking a General Administrative Assistant to support key functions across multiple departments. This role is essential to maintaining smooth and efficient operations and requires strong organizational skills, a high level of discretion, and the ability to work with urgency and attention to detail.

The successful candidate will be cross trained to support the Business Development, Human Resources, and Accounting departments in essential administrative tasks, including but not limited to:

• Performing basic payroll functions and employee data entry
• Assisting with various HR administrative tasks
• Managing secure facility badging processes
• Handling lien waivers and assisting with collections on past-due accounts
• Providing back-up coverage for the Receptionist during lunch hours and time off
• Supporting the Business Development Administrator as needed
• Performing additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) with minimal supervision
• Strong customer service mindset and a collaborative attitude
• Highly reliable, adaptable, detail‑oriented, and trustworthy
• Eagerness to learn and take initiative
• Ability to follow directions
• Positive work ethic
• At least 18 years old
• Must be able to pass a pre‑hire criminal background check & drug screening.
