Legal Administrative Assistant

McCoy Leavitt Laskey LLC is a national law firm with a regional office in San Diego, California. McCoy Leavitt Laskey concentrates its practice on the investigation of catastrophic fires and explosions and on litigation arising out of these incidents.

We are in need of another full-time experienced legal assistant. This work involves extensive file management, scheduling and calendaring, as well as assisting attorneys in preparing for scene exams, depositions, mediations and trials.

• Extensive file management

• Preparing for depositions
• Preparing for mediations
• Preparing for trials

Required Skills

• Strong typing and computer skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (with PowerPoint preferred)
• Experience with Worldox Document Management a plus
• Ability to take initiative and work well with a team
• Strong organizational skills
• Superior attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills

• Experience with iManage Document Management
