Position Overview
Barnhart Crane & Rigging is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Clerk to join our Albuquerque team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes while supporting overall administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and organize invoice batches for daily data entry
- Review, verify, and process invoices, ensuring proper coding of payment documents
- Generate and manage billing and credit transactions within the accounts payable/receivable system
- Communicate with customers to resolve billing discrepancies, questions, or requests
- Perform invoice entry and other data entry tasks as needed
- Identify and communicate issues or discrepancies in a timely manner
- Provide administrative support to management as needed
- Prior experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or bookkeeping (preferred but not required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and navigate multiple systems simultaneously
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe
