Overview

The Service Coordinator administers the Service work order process for the Power Systems Service Department, aligning with the company’s vision of working as a unified professional team.

Pay rate: $26.08 - $42.83 hourly, dependent on education and experience.

Essential Functions (Responsibilities)
  • Review and invoice work orders, ensuring accuracy in parts, labor, miscellaneous items, warranty codes, and purchase orders
  • Verify and enter technician time cards daily as needed
  • Receive invoicing from dealerships and vendors, forwarding for payment
  • Provide completed service reports, fluid analysis reports, and all required documentation to customers
  • Close all work orders within allotted time or sooner from the last day of labor
  • Maintain work in progress (WIP) below 60 days
  • Maintain technician service truck vehicle records and accurate service records
  • Provide the Warranty department with accurate service records
  • Provide the A/P – A/R department with accurate invoicing records
  • Collaborate with the Fleet Department to maintain accurate service truck records
  • Remain accessible to all Power Systems personnel for efficient workflow
  • Promote additional services to customers as appropriate
  • Apply basic knowledge of engines and EPG applications
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Required

Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of experience with electrical power generators
  • 3 years of administrative/clerical experience
  • 3 years of customer service experience
  • 1 year of sales experience
Physical Demands & Competencies
  • Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing
  • Sedentary work that may require occasionally lifting or moving up to 25 pounds
  • Data entry, telephone use, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication, and math skills
  • Safety & product knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Access
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Up to 25%
