Job Title
Secretary
Major Duties Include But Are Not Limited To:- Serves as point of contact for BHCL to provide explanations of requirements, regulations, and procedures.
- Provides conflict resolution and problem solving techniques to enhance collaboration with the Veteran and applicable services/departments for issue resolution.
- Responsible for coordination and correspondence related to projects, questions or problems that arise related to any program or function of BHCL. Monitors and in processes incoming and outgoing materials such as correspondence, reports, memoranda, and other forms of written communication. Assists in data collection, analysis, tracking and reporting of data and statistical information. Enters pertinent information into an automated tracking system.
- Composes, edits, and reviews correspondence for accuracy and completeness. Independently prepares documents and reports in a timely manner.
- Collects information from managers and care line leaders regarding resources, processes, and equipment.
- Serves as a time keeper to specific area(s) and back up timekeeper across the entire care line.
- Performs accurate and timely resolution of time card exceptions and corrected time cards.
- Maintains and revises the office filing system.
- Performs administrative support functions for preparation of Professional Standards Boards for BHCL clinicians.
- Completes requests for personnel actions and administratively supports revision of position descriptions.
- Initiates New Employee transition to care line and out-processing of transitioning staff.
- Schedules classrooms and meeting space, secures V-Tel and VANTS line. Enters and retrieves information from a variety of systems and educates care line employees on fed traveler procedures.
- Schedules appointments, coordinates meetings, and or/schedules conferences to include Travel processes as necessary.
- Other administrative duty as demand indicates.
Work Schedule:
Full Time, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
