Summary Position SummaryPerform a variety of routine and complex clerical, administrative and secretarial work in support of the Department/Office; may serve as receptionist and interact with public to provide customer service. Provides efficient and smooth customer service according to the standards required by Isleta Casino and Resort.
Isleta Resort and Casino Guest Service Agreement- All Team Members will display 100% commitment to World Class Guest Service through the delivery and maintenance of Guest Service Standards established by Isleta Resort and Casino.

- Under minimal supervision, performs all essential functions of the Administrative Assistant I.
- Develops office forms and procedures.
- Improves and updates filing system.
- Updates Department/Office’s administrative portion of
- Assists customers with higher-level transactions provides situation assessment; instructs customers on various processes and systems; directs customers to appropriate Offices or Departments.
- With some supervision, compose letters, reports, newsletters and other documents.
- May perform routine bookkeeping tasks.
- May create PowerPoint and other formal presentations.
- Performs other duties of a similar or related level as necessary or assigned.
- Organizes office operations and procedures while providing clerical and administrative assistance to the department Director
- Maintains open communication among all departments and keeps Management informed of all activities, issues, and special events.
- Processes employee payroll and enters PTO requests, if required.
- Schedules meetings and prepares meeting materials.
- Records and transcribes staff meeting minutes and notes.
- Distributes incoming and outgoing mail, interoffice mail, faxes, and correspondences.
- Prepares, logs, files, maintains, and enters department purchase requisitions, invoices, records, and contracts.
- Maintains department supplies and inventories.
- Answers telephones and routes to the appropriate department.
- Issues and logs employee key codes if applicable.
- Ensures that Management is advised promptly of outstanding, unresolved issues and kept current on solutions used in resolving issues.
- Compiles and transcribes statistical reports.
- Promotes and ensures an open and welcoming atmosphere that promotes skill enhancement.
- Greets internal and external guests, maintains a friendly and inviting atmosphere, and promotes positive guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
- Gives basic instruction and information on all promotions and special events, as requested.
- Occasionally perform other duties as assigned.
- Must provide any and/or additional support to other department functions within the division.
- Access to Sensitive Areas and Information
- High school diploma or equivalent. Satisfactory completion of all relevant required courses in specialty area.
- Minimum Experience 1 year administrative, secretarial or reception experience. Proficient in relevant computer software applications.
- Must be able to acquire and maintain Gaming License issued through POIGRA.
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background investigation.
- Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be willing to work any days/hours as needed or required to meet business needs.
- Must maintain all property-wide educational and certification requirements.
- Relevant Federal, state and local laws, rules, regulations, codes and/or statutes.
- Practices and procedures specific to the Department/Office.
- Modern office processes and procedures.
- Keyboarding, data entry and word processing skills.
- Grammar, spelling and punctuation.
- Must be able to perform basic mathematics to include, but is not limited to, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Must possess strong organizational and time management skills while paying close attention to details such as spelling, numbers, and grammar.
