The University of New Mexico Foundation seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused professional to serve as an Administrative Coordinator supporting UNM Hospitals, UNM Children’s Hospital, and the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center. The University of New Mexico Foundation seeks applications for the position of Administrative Coordinator, UNM Hospitals, UNM Children’s Hospital, and UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center. This position provides comprehensive administrative, clerical, and operational support for fundraising and development activities. Responsibilities include coordinating meetings, events, donor stewardship initiatives, communications, and special projects; maintaining accurate donor, departmental, and financial records; supporting budget and expense tracking;
and assisting with the daily operations of Development offices. The Administrative Coordinator serves as a key liaison among Development staff, donors, volunteers, board members, internal departments, and external partners, ensuring effective communication, timely follow-up, and exceptional customer service. Working closely with Foundation and healthcare colleagues, this position helps facilitate development programs and philanthropic efforts that benefit UNM Hospitals, UNM Children’s Hospital, and the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center.
minimum education and experience required:
- High school diploma/ GED required.
- Two (2) years’ of directly related experience.
- Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience.
The expected salary for this position is $40,000 - $45,000. This range is an estimate, and the final salary will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience and qualifications, consideration of any approved geographic salary differential, and alignment with internal equity guidelines to ensure consistency across similar roles.
