This position is in the Farm Service Agency, New Mexico State Office in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
About this position:
Serves as assistant to the Administrative/Executive Officer and is responsible for assisting the Administrative/Executive Officer in administering programs, developing and implementing the administrative and HRM programs, and in providing a variety of administrative services to the State and County Offices (CO) and Federal General Schedule (GS) and non-federal CO employees..
- Provide advice on and oversight of assigned administrative functions and recommends improvements.
- Participate in interviews with candidates for vacancies.
- Evaluates administrative reports and management practices in State and County Offices and develop recommendations for improvements.
- Provide advice on requirements and counseling on benefits, services and responsibilities.
- Provides a wide variety of administrative and technical support services.
- Assists in a variety of personnel management tasks.
