Position Summary
Perform professional and technical planning work required for developing, analyzing and maintaining statistical data utilized for service tracking, forecasting and reporting; perform customized geographic analysis and design in support of assigned department; provide highly responsible and complex staff assistance to higher level supervisory or management staff.

SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:
Education and experience directly related to the minimum requirements below may be interchangeable on a year for year basis. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in computer science, information systems, geography, planning, geographical information systems (GIS) or related field; and Four (4) years of professional route planning and analysis experience utilizing geographical information systems (GIS).
Experience using ESRI (Environmental Systems Research Institute) GIS software preferred.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License, or the ability to obtain by date of hire. Possession of a valid City Operator's Permit (COP) within six (6) months from date of hire.

Essential and supplemental functions require maintaining physical condition for sitting for prolonged periods of time; may be subject to irregular hours and routine community and evening meetings.
