Job Description
Construction Manager
Accountable for all Civil Works and associated financial control via Scheduling (time), SP/ASP and Quality Management on a given project.
Ensure that all Service Providers are adhering to Ericsson standards, processes and procedures as well as all Federal and Local standards. Identifies continuous improvement opportunities.
Interfaces with- External: ASP/SP, Customer PM
- Internal: IM Lead, Project Admin, Project Sponsor, CPM
- Assess and control charges to the agreed site design.
- Ensure that only Customer’s approved materials are installed on the project and that the agreed Civil Works guidelines and schedules are followed and enforced.
- Attend coordination and progress meetings.
- Provide on‑site supervision where the risk of disturbances in customer site performance is high.
- Maintain the working environment at an acceptable level, carry out safety inspections and ensure tools are in good working condition.
- Resolve Civil Works problems as required during the project.
- Coordinate site activities and assure that all disciplines directly involved in the project are in phase with project goals and objectives.
- Drive schedule activities and troubleshoot results.
- Ensure service providers and vendors meet all technical specifications, workmanship quality meets contract and client standards, and all safety guidelines and construction procedures are enforced throughout the Civil Works phase.
- Demonstrate knowledge in worker and site safety.
- Perform site pre‑inspections and coordinate post‑construction audits, site verification and visual inspections of quality on site.
- Prepare regular progress reports and provide accurate status information to project management.
- Provide technical assistance to the Service Providers and other suppliers involved in the Civil Works activities.
- Reject wrong deliveries of material to site and report bad performance and quality on site.
- Interpret and comply with civil design plans.
- Supervise, coordinate and monitor works with Service Providers and other disciplines with an interface to the Civil Works part of the project.
- Provide team leadership focused on quality and results.
- Write claims, order and return materials.
- Maintain and update construction‑specific areas of Site Handler including SOW and preconstruction documents (NTP, SOW, RFDS, safety guidance, QA standards), NTP receipt verification, RFDS submission review and changes, civil acceptance documents, submission receipt, review and approval, civil progress PFA verification (daily), and close‑out document review and acceptance sign‑off.
Has good knowledge and skills.

Experience/Qualification Level2–5 years:
Job‑related experience with project builds over 200 sites.
CM3 (Lead) or IM Lead.
