About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for overseeing project schedules, budgets, subcontractor coordination, documentation, client communication, and overall project execution while ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction remain top priorities. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and confident managing multiple priorities while leading projects with professionalism and accountability.

What

You’ll Do Project Management & Execution
  • Lead projects through all phases including preconstruction, construction, punch lists, and closeout
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, delays, and field challenges
  • Ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget expectations
  • Review invoices, subcontractor pay applications, and change orders for accuracy and cost control
Client & Team Coordination
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Facilitate project meetings and provide detailed updates to stakeholders
  • Coordinate internal teams to maintain communication, accountability, and project momentum
  • Build strong working relationships that support successful project delivery
Field Oversight, Safety & Quality
  • Lead subcontractors and maintain accountability for performance and expectations
  • Uphold company safety standards, quality expectations, and compliance requirements

    Ensure adherence to plans, specifications, schedules, and contract requirements
  • Support problem-solving efforts in the field to maintain productivity and project quality
Systems, Documentation & Process Management
  • Maintain organized project documentation, reporting, and communication logs
  • Utilize Procore, scheduling software, and internal systems to manage project workflows
  • Track project costs, change management, RFIs, submittals, and closeout documentation
  • Support continuous process improvement and operational efficiency
What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager in commercial construction
  • Proven success managing subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and project execution
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction means, methods, codes, and safety practices
  • Experience with project management and scheduling software such as Procore and Microsoft Project
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Experience working within the New Mexico commercial construction market
  • Familiarity with LEED or sustainable construction practices
