Construction Superintendent

Overview

RJS Construction is a woman/ Indian/ family-owned construction company which provides construction services to all government agencies. RJS has multiple projects throughout the Southwest.

• Understand and construct new buildings from the ground up through building completion.
• Inspect the jobsite and ensure safety; organize and conduct safety meetings as required.
• Communicate with all team members including Owner/owner's representative, architects, engineers, and inspectors.
• Hold weekly progress meetings and follow a master schedule; mirror progress with a 3-week look-ahead schedule.
• Maintain alignment with project plans, specifications, and contractual requirements.

• Minimum of 10 years of commercial construction experience.
• Ability to construct new and remodel existing buildings;
  Journeyman carpenter.
• Physically fit to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license; able to access government sites.
• Pass a government background check.
• Experience in new and remodel construction projects and in the federal construction industry.
• Safety-minded self-starter capable of supervising multiple tasks.

• 2 weeks paid vacation per year.
• 40 hours sick pay.

• Mileage reimbursement for use of personal vehicle at current government rate or an RJS vehicle if available.
