Spear D Construction is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. This position plays a critical role in preparing accurate and competitive project bids while supporting the successful execution of construction projects.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform quantity takeoffs using Bluebeam or similar software
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed
• Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors to obtain pricing
• Track bid deadlines and manage multiple estimates simultaneously
• Assist leadership in evaluating bid strategy and project risk

• 3+ years of construction estimating experience
• Experience in commercial, civil, or plumbing construction preferred
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
