Compensation

Hourly pay rate is $20.10 - $30.10/hour. The hourly rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the hourly range identified herein, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $0.01.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as account liaison, coordinating and executing account SLAs.
  • Act as primary point of contact for auction vendors and clients.
  • Engage clients to understand requirements, upsell CAI products and services, and ensure work is completed to client expectations.
  • Offer solutions ensuring sales proceed in a mutually beneficial manner for client and Cox.
  • Coordinate with auction personnel and other stakeholders across all aspects of customer engagement.
  • Resolve client issues for accounts ranging from simple to complex.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns related to vehicle condition and discrepancies, fostering positive relationships internally and externally.
  • Coordinate sale vehicle run processes, communicating with auction departments to ensure timely completion of reconditioning services.
  • Build positive relationships with assigned clients, examine vehicles in the sales lineup to ensure standards and quality, complete estimates, coordinate and approve reconditioning services, and conduct condition report and imaging audits.
  • Educate and act as liaison for clients on auction processes, recommending and upselling Manheim/CAI products and services based on client needs.
  • Demonstrate effective prioritization skills, professionalism in client relationships, and prompt issue resolution.
  • Maintain strict adherence to Cox standards and guidelines regarding reconditioning services, ensuring consistent quality and accuracy per client SLA guidelines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internal business platforms.
  • Demonstrate safety commitment by following safety and health procedures and modeling related behaviors.
  • Participate actively in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED and at least 3 years experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination of higher education or 5 years experience.
  • Safe driver with a valid driver’s license required.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
  • Prior experience in vehicle reconditioning or general auto body knowledge preferred.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Preferred ability to operate vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
Drug Testing

To be employed in this role, you’ll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position. However, we are a drug‑free workplace, so possession, use, or being under the influence of drugs illegal under federal or state law during work hours, on company property and/or in company vehicles is prohibited.

Benefits

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Additional paid time off may be available for bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
