Client Service Representative

Client Service Coordinator - Banfield Pet Hospital, Albuquerque

Provides front‑line service to clients and pets, maximizing the veterinary team’s productivity and ensuring a positive client experience.

• Recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and routing the flow of clients and pets.
• Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team through an efficient operation.
• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service; welcome clients and pets, ensure comfort, and educate about pet health.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care, pet health needs and hospital services.
• Assist incoming clients: complete required documentation, enter pet information and history, use proper collars and tags for identification, and ensure prompt service.
• Assist outgoing clients: provide instructions, invoices, dispense prescription items per veterinarian, sell retail products, and schedule future appointments.
• Manage finances: maintain accurate balances and use proper opening and closing procedures.
• Conduct administrative functions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Work at a computer for long periods.
• Be comfortable around pets (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, etc.).
• Work weekends and evenings as required.
• Exposure to pets that may bite or scratch; occasional exposure to anesthesia, radiation, biological hazards, and medication/controlled substances.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform duties involving radiography and radioactive substances.
• One year of related experience, customer‑service experience preferred.

$15.00 – $18.69 per hour.
