Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Consulting Dental Assistant to join Jobot Consulting. This unique role combines clinical dental assisting with financial acumen in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will support patient care and contribute to the financial management of the dental practice.
Salary: $17 - $20 per hour. This Jobot Consulting role is hosted by Daniel Gonzalez.

Responsibilities- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
- Ask about the patient s medical history and take blood pressure and pulse.
- Serve as an infection control officer, developing infection control protocol and preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
- Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment.
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures, such as the placement of a restoration (filling).
- Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health.
- Dental Assistant certification, where required by state law.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Demonstrated knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on patient care.
- Experience with dental practice management software.
- A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel.
- Familiarity with financial software systems.
- Knowledge of dental insurance billing and coding.
