To prosper as a Dental Assistant, you should have:
  • At least 1 year of continuous dental assisting experience or be a recent graduate from an accredited Dental Assisting program, we're excited to help you start your career!
  • Dental Assistant Certification or an Associate's degree in a Dental Assisting program.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a passion for providing excellent patient care.
More about your role as a Dental Assistant:
  • Prepare patients for dental procedures.
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments and set up trays.
  • Assist the dentist during procedures, including fillings, cleanings, root canals, extractions, crown and bridge work, and dental implants.
  • Collect and record medical and dental histories.
  • Help create a welcoming, comfortable experience for every patient.
