Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Albuquerque, NM
, is currently seeking a General Anesthesia Assistant to provide excellent, high-quality care to patients at a pediatric dental practice and outpatient surgery center, including sedation/surgery. This position will report to the Specialty Services Manager.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the team with a smooth flow of anesthesia support services
Create a friendly relationship with patients and parents as well as educating them on good oral health - Organize and sterilize dental instruments and workstations per OSHA standards
- Travel as needed to assist with anesthesia services
- Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc.
- Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children
- Radiology education and training that meets state requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills, including a friendly outgoing demeanor and the ability to actively listen to patients and parents
- Ability to multi-task and complete dental tasks correctly and in a timely manner
- Knowledge of e-Clinical Works (eCW) a plus
- Previous experience working in a dental office preferred
- Current BLS CPR certification
