Radiology Associates of Albuquerque (RAA) is a physician‑owned private practice group with 29 radiologists. RAA is headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico, but has radiologists practice throughout the state. For over 50 years, RAA has delivered excellent service by partnering with Presbyterian Medical Group, maintaining strong relationships with pathology, surgery, medical and radiation oncology providers. RAA operates two physician‑owned outpatient breast imaging centers in Albuquerque staffed by a dedicated team of breast imagers and support staff.
PositionSummary
RAA is looking to add a breast radiologist with MQSA certification to join our High‑Resolution breast imaging team in Albuquerque. Fellowship training is preferred, but all qualified applicants—including current residents and fellows—are encouraged to apply.
Team & ResponsibilitiesOur breast imaging team is composed of five breast radiologists who work closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, participate in the weekly breast tumor board, and help patients achieve the best possible outcomes. We have a state‑of‑the‑art ACR Designated Comprehensive Breast Imaging Center that includes a robust breast MRI program, contrast‑enhanced mammography, automated breast ultrasound, and all breast interventional procedures, including Savi Scout and Hologic RFID localization.
The position is up to 100% breast imaging and provides a home‑reading PACS station for a mix of patient‑facing clinic days and work‑from‑home days (all work can also be performed on‑site if desired). FTE can be flexible, ranging from 3‑5 days/week, based on your desire. Breast radiologists are responsible for weekday coverage only. Breast imagers have no weekend, holiday or general radiology call responsibilities and no travel requirements.
