14-15 shifts per month with mix of 8, 9, and 10-hour shifts
2-3 patients per hour across 4 different worksites
High acuity patients with ESI levels 1-5
APP support varies by facility with coverage 6a-3p to 8p-4a
Procedures: intubation, cricothyrotomy, ultrasound guided central lines
Greatest need for nights, swings, and weekend coverage
Emergency procedures including codes and conscious sedation
Hospital privileges required
