## Description
** Summary
* * Under direct supervision from assigned CNM Ingenuity Director or Manager, develops and presents short courses and/or workshops, providing personal and/or professional education. Specifically performs one or more of the following:
Teaches short-term courses and workshops; creates curriculum; establishes and assesses student performance objectives; determines student grades and keeps accurate records. Mix of theoretical and practical sessions will be required to demonstrate student level of knowledge and understanding. A successful candidate will have experience and knowledge in multiple areas of behavioral heath to support our various non-credit programs in this area.

** Instruction Pay Rate: $60/ hr
**** Preparatory Pay Rate: $24/hr
**** Developmental Pay Rate: $54/hr**## Qualifications
** Essential Knowledge and Skills
*** Demonstrated knowledge of behavioral health theory and practice in the community
* Demonstrated teaching or training skills.
* Effective written and communication skills.
* Exceptional customer service abilities.
* Ability to adjust and adapt curriculum and teaching styles to meet the needs of various stakeholders and students.
* Additional assignments based on skills may become available.
* Other duties as assigned.
** Minimums
* ** Four years of experience in a behavioral health setting
* OR Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, Counseling or related field (may count as four years of experience)
* AND One (1) year of related teaching or training experience.
** Preferences
* ** Master’s degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, Counseling or related field
* Experience with development of curriculum or training materials
* Familiarity with current trends and best practices in addiction recovery
* Certification in Crisis Prevention and Intervention
* Experience with trauma-informed approaches
* Familiarity with community resources and social service programs
