The Educational Support Professional works with and supports individual students as well as small groups of students, under the direction of the classroom teacher.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Knowledge of business English, spelling, and mathematics.
- General working knowledge of standard office equipment.
- Spanish/English bilingual fluency preferred.
Ability to move objects weighing up to pounds about the office on a constant basis; ability to constantly position self throughout the work day at heights up to 5 feet using varied methods; ability to remain in a stationary position for periods of up to 3 hours; ability to communicate with and exchange accurate information with students, coworkers, parents, and the public.

QUALIFICATIONS- Required – High school diploma and Associates degree or semester hours from an accredited higher education institution in a related field.
- Preferred – Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Required – Successful completion of blood borne pathogen training within the first year of employment.
- Preferred – Two years of current work experience with school-aged children in a school environment, as well as successful completion of blood borne pathogen training within the first year of employment.
