Social Worker (PT)Job Description
For the school year, Part-Time Social Worker (0.4 FTE). Bilingual is a plus but not required. Must have a New Mexico School Social Worker License. Previous school and/or community experience preferred.

Hours:
Mon‑Thurs 8:30‑4:00;
Fridays 8:00‑2:00 (PLCs), every other Friday off. Hours are negotiable for part-time employees.

Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate, team player who will help our school continue to support our students with social‑emotional needs, IEP goals, and other areas as determined by the wellness team. The ideal candidate loves to serve their community and continuously seeks ways to support the school’s prevention interventions.
Duties:
- Works closely with the Principal to ensure compliance with IEPs, goals, and reporting.
- Works independently to ensure student records and notes are updated as needed.
- Works closely with the wellness team to monitor attendance, behavior, and other SEL intervention needs.
- Works closely with staff to provide training/resources as needed.
- Other duties as assigned based on student needs.
Experience:
- Previous experience working with bilingual families.
- Proven track record of helping students overcome barriers.
- Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
