Violin Teacher; Part-Time

The Albuquerque Institute of Music (AIM) is a rapidly growing music school dedicated to providing high-quality, inspiring music education to students of all ages and skill levels. We are currently seeking enthusiastic, dependable Violin Instructors to join our collaborative and passionate teaching team.

If you also teach additional instruments—such as flute, drums, piano, guitar, ukulele, mandolin, viola, cello, upright bass, voice, clarinet, or saxophone—we’d love to hear about it!

• We handle all billing, scheduling, and administrative work — so you can focus on teaching

• Provide engaging, high-quality voice instruction to students of varying ages and levels
• Create customized, long-term lesson plans tailored to each student’s goals and abilities
• Communicate professionally and positively with students and families
• Collaborate with fellow instructors and staff to enhance the overall AIM experience
• Support student participation in performances and events when applicable

• Teaching experience with students of diverse ages and skill levels
• Strong foundation in music theory, technique, and performance
• Friendly, encouraging, and professional demeanor
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-focused culture
• Experience in any musical genre is welcome

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music (or related field)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency on voice (additional instruments a plus)
