Job Title: Title I Instructional Dean Wage/Hour Status: Exempt

Primary PurposeTo support the campus in meeting the needs of at‑risk students through supporting Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 instruction.
Qualifications:Education/Certification
- Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in Education
- Valid Texas teaching certificate
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject areas
- Desire to become an administrator or instructional coach/specialist
- 3 years of teaching experience at the elementary or secondary level
Supporting the work of the Five That Drive in response to PLCs, Data, and MTSS
- Lead the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of Response to Intervention (RTI)
- Support at‑risk student identification (academic & behavioral)
- Maintain systems for progress monitoring of all identified at‑risk students.
- Create, organize and lead professional development for campus
- Lead interim and weekly data meetings
- Facilitate and coach the development of the weekly instructional planning guide
- Conduct observation and feedback cycles
- Collect and analyze student, campus and district data
- Mentor and support new teachers
- Lead and support campus and/or district initiatives
- Organize the campus‑wide tutorial program
- Facilitate SPED Referrals
- Serve as the Coordinator/Assistant for:
- 504
- State Testing
- TELPAS
- MAP
This position may supervise assigned educational assistants.
Mental Demands / Physical Demands / Environmental Factors- Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals
- Posture: Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting
- Motion: Repetitive hand motions, frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching
- Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds)
- Environment: Frequent district-wide travel; occasional state-wide travel
- Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress; ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written); interpret policy, procedures, and data; coordinate district functions; occasional prolonged and irregular hours.
