We are looking for a camp coach with an athletic or coaching background who ideally has experience in birthday parties or coaching kids ages 4 - 9. The Kid Strong Party Coach would focus on coaching children on brain, physical, and character development that stems from a designed camp curriculum. The ideal candidate must also be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding any incidents that take place during camp.

Parties typically run when school is out, weekend afternoons from 4pm-8pm
* may vary depending on locations - the ideal candidate must be available during those hours.

Coach responsibilities include party sizes of up to 20 children, ages ranging from 4 - 9, teaching the Kid Strong curriculum as provided by the HQ programming team, ensuring camp both start and ends on schedule and following the appropriate pace of curriculum, greeting students as well as parent(s)/guardian(s) as they arrive to the party, maintaining a dynamic, fun, motivational, and professional demeanor when leading camp, demonstrating and managing the implementation of various exercises, keeping an accurate record of attendance at all times, ensuring cleanliness of the center including the lobby, bathrooms, and blue floors - this includes taking out the trash, sweeping and mopping, wiping down equipment, and sanitizing the mat at the end of a shift, effectively using the KS Coach's App to record class data and provide records of data for parents (attendance, awards, etc.),

communicating professionally with co-workers in Slack, our company messaging system, including periodic checks of messages when not in centers, completing training through Learn Upon as required by the HQ Training and Certification team, being able to work in a physically intensive environment - coaches may cover multiple miles in a shift moving through camp, lift and repeatedly moving equipment up to 25 pounds in weight, being comfortable working "hands-on" with kids to ensure proper technique and ensure student safety, attending additional mandatory staff meetings as required by Kid Strong Director, and supervision, safety, and program implementation for campers while ensuring the well-being of all children.

Job qualifications include a passion for working with children is non-negotiable, prior experience coaching students within the appropriate Kid Strong age is preferred, intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is preferred, CPR certified, positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills, self-starter who just gets a job done, and if you enjoy the spotlight, this position was meant for you!

Compensation: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
