Teach a 4/4 course load in Mathematics and Statistics. Maintain an active scholarship/service record. Participate in monthly division meetings. Perform other duties as assigned in conjunction with the division chair. Career advancement opportunities guided by the UNM Faculty Handbook and the collective bargaining agreement.

Minimum:

• PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• At least 18 graduate semester hours in Mathematics coursework.

Preferred:

• Experience teaching lower-level Math and Statistics courses.
• College-level teaching experience at a branch/community college.
• Experience with diverse socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic student populations.
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms.
• Commitment to understanding New Mexico’s diverse cultures and supporting UNM’s mission.
