Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with NM PreK standards.
- Foster social‑emotional development using trauma‑informed practices.
- Complete observations, assessments, and individualized learning plans.
- Build partnerships with families.
- Supervise classroom staff.
- Ensure compliance with ECECD, NM PreK, CACFP, and NAEYC standards.
- Participate in coaching and professional development.
These duties complement the core responsibilities listed above.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Eligibility for or possession of a New Mexico Birth–PreK Teaching License.
- Experience working with preschool‑aged children.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Experience with Teaching Strategies GOLD.
- Experience with CLASS and the Pyramid Model.
