Kid Connect is the children’s ministry of East Gate Church, serving infants through elementary-aged children. Our mission is to partner with families in raising a generation that knows and loves Jesus. Through engaging Bible lessons, prayer, age-appropriate activities, and meaningful relationships, we strive to provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children can grow spiritually, emotionally, and socially.

We are committed to teaching biblical truth, modeling Christ-like character, and helping children build a strong foundation of faith that will guide them throughout their lives.
The Teaching Role
East Gate Church is hiring a part-time Sunday School Teacher (School Age Classroom) to help children engage Scripture in a way they can understand and apply. This role exists to support families by providing consistent, Christ-centered teaching on Sunday mornings.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and lead interactive Bible lessons for school-age children.
- Facilitate prayer, discussion, and age-appropriate activities.
- Maintain a safe, orderly classroom; follow check-in/out and allergy notes.
- Communicate concerns to Kid Connect leadership and, when needed, request parent contact.
- Reset and sanitize the room after class.
Required Qualifications /Skills
- Experience working with children and creating interactive lesson plans.
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain).
- Dependable, patient, and trustworthy; supports East Gate Church’s mission.
Pay: $21.00–$25.00/hour.
