We look forward to hearing from educators who have a passion for teaching and a desire to inspire students. We are seeking those with content and pedagogical expertise.
WORK YEAR:
- Year started 7/27/26, Last day 6/4/27.
- In 2026-27, there are 167 full days, Tuesday through Friday + 33 short Mondays from 8 am to 1 pm. Start date and work days will be determined once selected candidate is hired and essential paperwork completed.
- DATA has a 4-day school week for students, Tuesday through Friday. On Mondays, DATA engages in Professional Development, where faculty has time to work with colleagues and prep for the week ahead.
PAY & BENEFITS:
- Full-time, full year pay is between $55,000 and $82,100 annually – based on licensure level, education, and experience. Pay will be prorated for days worked.
- This position is full-time and eligible for the full benefits package.
- Insurances include medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, life, disability, and specialty insurances for employees and their families.
- DATA pays 80% of the insurance premiums.
- For the pension benefit, employees pay 10.7% of all earnings into their retirement account, and DATA also pays 18.15% on all pay earned toward the employee’s retirement account!

Exemption Status: Exempt
Immediate Supervisors: Principal and Assistant Principal
SUMMARY: Teaches by creating a flexible program and an environment favorable to learning and personal growth; by encouraging students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to obtain a good foundation for continuous growth and development; by providing students with experiences which integrate the affective, cognitive and psychomotor dimensions of learning; by establishing effective rapport with students and their parents; by assisting students in developing positive feelings toward themselves and others.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES: Incumbent must achieve the following outcomes with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Arrives on time and is physically present consistently in order to maintain classroom continuity and fulfill essential functions and duties.
- Meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated.
- Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students.
- Cooperates in the development and implementation of the charter’s program of instruction.
- Plans and implements a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests and abilities of students and complies with State Department of Education Standards and individual student IEP plans, if appropriate.
- Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals. Establishes clear objectives for all lessons, assignments, units and projects in harmony with curriculum goals and communicates the objectives to students.
- Employs instructional methods and materials that are most appropriate for meeting stated objectives.
- Establishes and maintains standards of appropriate student behavior and discipline as prescribed in the school handbook and IEP plans of each student, if applicable, and achieves a functional learning atmosphere in the classroom and assists in…
