Teacher Assistant/ Paraprofessional
Position Summary
The Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico is inviting applications from current graduate and undergraduate students to serve as Faculty Aides for Summer/Fall 2026. Faculty Aides will work directly with assigned Anderson Faculty from one of four academic departments to support their work.
Responsibilities- Assist with handouts and material preparation
- Assist with grading assignments
- Host additional study sessions or office hours
- Attend meetings and sessions
- Manage online discussion boards
- Help with other related activities as appropriate
Positions typically range between 10‑20 hours per week. Pay is $16.00‑$18.00 per hour, depending on experience and student status.
Minimum Qualifications- Enrolled in a degree‑seeking program at UNM
- Enrolled at least half‑time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (audit hours do not count)
- If Work Study, must meet satisfactory academic progress
- Current Anderson graduate student or senior‑year Anderson student
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- Prior experience supporting faculty
- A demonstrated commitment to working with broadly diverse communities
