Part Time 20 to 25 hrs/wk, seasonal (Summer) up to 40hrs/wk   Pay Rate: $16.50 to 20.00 Hourly Position Summary Provides safe, engaging, developmentally appropriate programming for youth in elementary grades K through
5. Supports academic success, social/emotional development, and positive behavior. Ensures compliance with all child safety, supervision, and employment policies.

** Youth Development & Relationships**  + Build positive, supportive relationships with youth  + Create inclusive, welcoming environments  + Model respect, empathy, and professionalism  + Use trauma informed practices
* ** Program Facilitation & Engagement**  + Deliver structured, high quality activities  + Follow BGCA Program Basics  + Adapt activities for diverse learning styles  + Maintain high engagement and participation* ###
** Safety, Supervision & Compliance**  + Maintain line of sight supervision at all times  + Follow ratios, emergency procedures, and BGCCNM/ECECD safety policies  + Complete incident reports accurately and promptly  + Identify and respond to safety risks  + Maintain hazard free environments and report concerns immediately* ###
** Academic Support (Power Hour)**  + Provide structured homework help  + Support literacy and numeracy  + Encourage persistence and academic confidence  + Reinforce school day learning* ###
** Social/Emotional Learning & Behavior Support**  + Model SEL skills and positive behavior  + Use deescalation and restorative practices  + Respond calmly and consistently to behavior challenges  + Support positive Club culture  + Provide guidance and discipline to ensure a safe and respectful environment.* ###
** Inclusion, Equity & Cultural Responsiveness**  + Create welcoming environments for all youth  + Support LGBTQ+ youth safely  + Adapt programming for youth with disabilities  + Demonstrate cultural humility* ###
** Communication & Family Engagement**  + Communicate professionally with youth, families, and staff  + Maintain confidentiality and boundaries  + Provide clear updates on behavior or safety concerns  + Represent the Club positively* ###
** Documentation, Data & Operations**  + Complete program attendance and incident reports accurately using My Club Hub /Salesforce database  + Follow opening/closing procedures  + Maintain clean, organized program spaces

** Qualifications
* ** Minimum age: 18 years old
* Experience working with youth preferred
* Ability to plan and facilitate activities
* Strong communication and relationship building skills
* Commitment to safety, equity, and positive youth development
* Must pass background check and meet all licensing requirements
* CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
** Physical Requirements
*** Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
* Ability to stand, walk, and supervise youth for extended periods
* Work performed in school sites, Clubhouses, and outdoor environments
