Responsibilities- Lead and supervise a combination of engineering and technical teams, managing work schedules and assignments while ensuring adherence to safety and workplace policies and supporting the professional development of team members.
- Develop detailed production plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies, initiate, process, monitor, document, and complete work orders using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), and assign tasks to appropriate personnel and shops.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for government Test Officers, Government Points of Contact (GPOCs), and internal departments, processing work requirements and providing status updates.
- Provide the Engineering Department Manager with daily monitoring and follow-up to ensure timely execution of projects, work requests, change order tasks, and assist with reporting requirements and data calls.
- Research, specify, and procure parts, supplies, and materials for maintenance and operations; write and submit purchase requisitions with detailed justifications.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures through internal and external audits, and document all quality assurance activities while analyzing data to identify and drive process improvements.
- Graduation from a two-year technical institute and a minimum of three years of progressive experience in supervising engineering tasks, resourcing, scheduling, and quality control.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience managing maintenance activities with CMMS.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; knowledge and familiarity with the military Test and Evaluation (T&E) environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance is mandatory.
- Familiarity with WSMR, Department of Defense (DoD) Test and Evaluation programs, and mission support activities.
- Bachelor of Science degree in a related field.
