Overview

Directly assist the U.S. Air Force in testing for certification of new or modified aircraft systems in support of its dual‑mission capable role. We need a test engineer to verify significant changes to the aircraft platform hardware or software through in‑depth test planning, analysis, and reporting.

As a test engineering team lead, you will manage a test team supporting flight test engineers, hardware and software developers, flight line maintainers, System Program Office representatives, and aircraft program test directors. The role requires overseeing development of test plans and procedures, ensuring data analysis criteria are captured, and ensuring test designs meet system and user requirements. You will attend test planning forums, coordinate team support activities, and communicate with leadership and clients on daily taskings.

Responsibilities

Lead test projects and events. Design, develop, and implement testing methods and techniques. Prepare and coordinate test and safety plans and field test operations. Work within a professional, military-oriented environment.

Qualifications
  • Experience leading test projects or event activities.
  • Experience designing, developing, and implementing testing methods and techniques.
  • Responsiveness to client needs and demonstrated timely delivery of work products and tasks.
  • Ability to draft and coordinate test and safety plans, and field test operations.
  • Ability to work within a professional, military-oriented environment.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Associate's degree in an Engineering or Science field.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience with developmental or operational test and evaluation.
  • Experience with an Integrated Product Team.
  • Knowledge of experimental techniques and test optimizations for small and limited sample sizes.
  • Knowledge of laboratory test operations.
  • Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
Clearance

Applicants may be required to undergo a security investigation and meet eligibility for access to classified information. Secret clearance is required.
