Directional Drillers – Telecommunications Infrastructure – Albuquerque, NM

Aecon is seeking experienced Directional Drillers for telecommunications infrastructure projects in Albuquerque, NM. This hands-on role involves operating HDD equipment like Vermeer or Ditch Witch drills and requires a strong understanding of locate marks and surveying techniques. Ideal for those with previous HDD experience, this position supports Aecon’s growing presence in North America’s utility and telecom sectors. This is a non-union role with field-based responsibilities.

What you’ll need:

Experience with horizontal directional drilling
Familiarity with Vermeer or Ditch Witch drills
Knowledge of Digitrak locating equipment (F5/F5 Falcon preferred)
Valid state driver’s license (heavy truck/trailer preferred)
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Strong communication and teamwork skills
