Civil Engineer

Wilson & Company, Inc. is looking for a Professional Engineer to serve as a Civil Engineer in our Albuquerque, NM office.

• Lead and support studies and designs of surface water drainage systems, site design, and related infrastructure.
• Use hydrologic and hydraulic modeling tools to design and analyze complex drainage systems, stormwater management basins, and prepare FEMA studies such as CLOMRs and LOMRs.
• Support design efforts for site layout, grading and earthwork, storm drainage systems, stormwater management facilities, water and sanitary sewer utilities, roadway and parking lot design, and erosion and sediment control plans.
• Design stormwater management facilities meeting water quality and quantity requirements, including storm sewer networks, open channel design, and culverts.
• Prepare site drainage reports, design concept reports, and drainage master plans.
• Deliver project discipline scope elements within budget and schedule.

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET‑accredited institution.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in hydrology and hydraulics studies, roadway drainage design, and flood‑control management.
• Pass New Mexico Professional Engineer (PE) exam within the past year or already licensed as a professional engineer in New Mexico.
• Proficiency with hydrologic/hydraulic software:
  Storm
  
  CAD, Civil Storm, HEC‑RAS, HEC‑RAS2D, HEC‑HMS, FLO2D, or similar.
• Experience with ArcGIS (plus).
• Prepared work plans, budgets, and project schedules.
• Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD and Civil 3D; knowledge of Bentley Micro Station, InRoads, and Open Roads (plus).

$85,000 – $135,000+ depending on experience.
