Job Summary: We are seeking a Structural Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical, real-world experience supporting structural design and analysis efforts while working closely with experienced engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Assist engineers with structural calculations, analysis, and design tasks
- Support development of drawings and models using Revit and other design software
- Help prepare project documentation, reports, and calculations
- Assist with researching applicable building codes and standards
- Participate in site visits (as applicable) to observe construction progress
- Support QA/QC efforts by checking work for completeness and accuracy
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project teams
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Completed or working toward coursework in structural analysis and design
- Basic understanding of engineering principles
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office; exposure to AutoCAD, Revit, or analysis software is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and eagerness to learn
- Strong communication skills
- Initiative and curiosity
- Interest in pursuing a career in structural engineering
