Electrical Engineer
Electrical Engineer on our team to evaluate and certify defense systems in support of U.S. national security policy. Your technical expertise will be vital as you provide recommendations on complicated threat systems and develop engineering solutions that meet customer needs.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and certify defense systems and ensure they meet technical requirements.
- Provide recommendations on complex threat systems and advance customer-focused engineering solutions.
- Design, develop, or evaluate electrical systems, including PCB and schematic design.
- Apply system architecture and design methodologies to support DoD aircraft systems.
- Collect and analyze data to assess system performance and reliability.
- Communicate engineering concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
- 2+ years of experience with electrical design, development, or evaluation.
- Experience with Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design and schematic design.
- Knowledge of DoD aircraft systems, power delivery systems, and data collection/analysis.
- Familiarity with system architecture and design methodologies.
- Ability to evaluate systems against technical requirements and identify concerns and issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Secret clearance (or eligibility to obtain).
- Experience with AMAC systems, Model-Based Systems Engineering, Independent Verification and Validation, and requirement traceability.
- Knowledge of logic devices, embedded systems, or programming software.
- Familiarity with MIL‑STD‑464, MIL‑STD‑461, and hazards of electromagnetic radiation to ordnance.
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is required.
CompensationThe projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $ annualized USD, based on location, education, skills, and experience.
