Overview
Electrical Engineer – Nuclear Surety
As an electrical engineer, you will analyze current and future Air Force nuclear weapon systems to ensure compliance with Nuclear Safety Design Certification. Your work supports the mission of keeping nuclear weapons safe and secure.
ResponsibilitiesEvaluate electrical systems within existing and emerging nuclear weapon platforms for safety and reliability.
Identify potential nuclear surety impacts and provide evidence‑based recommendations.
Collaborate closely with Air Force teams and project stakeholders to advance nuclear surety practices.
Qualifications- Experience analyzing electrical systems, including undergraduate work
- Knowledge of fundamental electrical engineering principles
- Ability to work in a close‑knit team, including the client
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience designing electrical or electronic systems
- Knowledge of industry or military electrical engineering standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- TS/SCI clearance
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering

CompensationThe projected compensation range for this position is $55,300.00 to $ (annualized USD). Salary is determined by a combination of factors including location, education, experience, and contract requirements.
