We are partnering with a growing manufacturer to hire a customer-facing sales professional focused on capital equipment and automated packaging systems
. This role works directly with manufacturing customers to design, sell, and support integrated equipment solutions from concept through installation.
This is a capital equipment sales role (not consumables) requiring experience selling into manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and develop new business opportunities within manufacturing environments
- Partner with customers to assess production processes and identify automation opportunities
- Design and sell packaging equipment and integrated system solutions
- Conduct site visits to gather technical requirements and evaluate operations
- Develop system concepts, layouts, and equipment recommendations
- Support proposal development, pricing, and technical presentations
- Collaborate with internal engineering, vendors, and integrators
- Manage projects through execution, installation, and commissioning
- Build long-term customer relationships and grow territory revenue
- Case erecting and sealing systems
- Conveying and material handling
- Robotic packaging and palletizing
- Stretch wrapping, shrink, or strapping systems
- Integrated packaging lines and automation
- Experience selling capital equipment, automation, or packaging equipment
- Experience calling on manufacturing, operations, or engineering teams
- Ability to manage technical sales cycles from concept through installation
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical solutions clearly
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, territory-based role
- Willingness to travel approximately 40%
- Engineering or technical background
- Experience working with OEMs, integrators, or manufacturing end users
- CAD or layout experience
- Base salary: $110,000–$130,000 + bonus
- Remote flexibility with regional travel
